Covenant

Published by Tonja under OT Study

This is probably pre-empting a few lessons, but as I was doing some research about God’s covenantal agreements with Abraham and then with Moses, I ran across a few links that I might as well just go ahead and post.

The first one is from a site called PreceptAustin.org and I believe that they are linked with the Precepts classes that are associated with Kay Arthur.  Anyway, on this page they have a fairly comprehensive chart of comparisons of the Abrahamic covenant, the Mosaic Covenant (which they are labeling Old Covenant) and then the New Covenant.  It’s worth reading through some of the questions that they ask (and answer).

This site has a much smaller chart and they compare the parties involved, the promises made, the conditions of the covenant, the sign and seal and finally the mediator of each of the covenanental agreements.

Now this site is not a chart, it is written out, but it has nice divisions and there is a decent summary at the end.

Okay, I think that does it for covenants for now. I may come back to this one.

Old Testament Book Descriptions

Published by Tonja under OT Study

I found a website some time ago that has really good, short descriptions of each of the books of the bible.  I have permission from Mike Scott to publish these in a pdf for my small group.  Enjoy!
